85 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
In 2020 the historic Fratelli Rotta company becomes ProntoPack: an important step with an European standing that aims to enhance the 85-years-experience in paper and cartonboard field.
PRONTOPAPER BECOMES A SOCIETY
ProntoPaper, ProntoPack’s former business unit, becomes officially a new society.
THE SETTING UP OF PRONTOPACK SOLUTIONS
ProntoPack evolves from cutting centre into packaging consultant through the creation of ProntoPack Solutions, a business unit aimed to support and develop FBB packaging for final users, from design to production.
FRATELLI ROTTA BECOMES PRONTOPACK
The historical company Fratelli Rotta becomes Prontopack: the 85-years-experience and the passion of people become the engine for a change which looks to the future with trust and with the energy of new beginnings.
THE ENTRANCE IN EUROPE
Fratelli Rotta starts a cut and distribution center of paperboard in Germany, entering the European market and forging a partnership with Comart, benchmark of Spanish market since 1965. Fratelli Rotta and Comart found together ProntoPack.
NEW BUSINESS: LABEL AND OFFICE PAPER
Fratelli Rotta fuses together with the company Z-Cart with the aim to expand ist products and services. It is the begging of a new business entity, which offers a wide range of new products (office paper and label) and gives a more efficient service.
GROWTH KEEPS GOING ON
The partnership between Fratelli Rotta and its suppliers needs a wider production capacity. The fifth cutting machine is placed.
FROM PRODUCT TO SERVICE
Fratelli Rotta turns from a product supplier into a service supplier, aimed to customers and producers. This leads to a review of the company mission and to a partnership strenghtening with the suppliers.
SUSTAINABILITY
A 115kW fotovoltaic system is placed, it satisfies the 80% of the energy consumption: sustainability is not just a slogan, but a fact.
GROWTH OF PRODUCTION CAPACITY
Fratelli Rotta wants to give a more efficient service by placing a new cutting machine.
THE PARTNERSHIP WITH PAPERMILLS
Fratelli Rotta starts partnership with the most important European Papermills. The companz starts to sell not just board, but papermills’ products. The first collection is created.
THE BIRTH OF THE CUTTING CENTRE
Enrico, Giambattista, Piercarlo and Raimondo, Luigi Rotta’s heirs found Fratelli Rotta, with the aim to develop the business of cartonboard for packaging and for graphic design. In order to give a better servi ce to customers, Fratelli Rotta creates a cutting centre with two cutting machines.
THE ORIGINS OF FRATELLI ROTTA
1935 is the foundation year of the company “Luigi Rotta”. The purpose of the company was to supply artisans and small local producers with paper products.
